I recommend that everyone should learn to shop lines and keep at a minimum 5-6 books. I have been asked hundreds of times for a list of the books I personally use. I have also included the books I love to use for live or in-games bets. Click the banners to sign up (each sign up helps the site).
BetOnline – Probably the book I bet at the most – great for betting live.
5Dimes – One of the top books out there. Everyone should sign up. Great for live betting.
BetDSI – The best book. Period. Live betting available.
Bovada – Not my favorite book but a book you can exploit because of their square lines.
In order to properly shop lines, some type of betting software is a must have. The two best are SportsInsights and SportsOptions. SportsInsights can be a bit pricier but is well worth the investment if you are a serious gambler. SportsOptions is a great alternative for those looking for a cheaper option that does a lot of the same things. I have used both and highly recommend you do so as well. Both give out steam plays, picks, and let you pick which book’s lines (pretty much as many as you want) you want to observe in the program. They both offer many other features as well. Sign up by clicking the banners below (you will support the site by doing so).
The standard is set here. Perfect program in my opinion.
A cheaper option that offers much of the same as other programs like it. A great bargain.

There are a lot of stupid people on Twitter. I am certain of that. Here is a group of people on the other end of the spectrum. All are must-follows! (If I misspelled anything or made any other mistakes let me know)
